The Association
The ACS is an umbrella/co-ordinating body for charity shops.
It also deals with house-to-house collections of goods for charity shops.
Most charities which run charity shops are members of the Association (eg Oxfam). Membership is by subscription. The fee is based on the number of shops they operate.
The ACS is a not-for-profit company, limited by guarantee. It covers all the UK (including Northern Ireland).
